Nine club members attended a brilliant weekend meet to the Coruisk Hut on the Isle of Skye – Andy, Bob, Elsie, Deirdre, Dave, Cliff, Catriona, Chris and Jim.
The weather was excellent, the hills were great and the views were spectacular.
Andy, Bob, Elsie, Dave, Deirdre, Cliff, Catriona and Chris caught various boats from Elgol into Coruisk.
Andy, Bob, Elsie, Dave, Deirdre, Cliff and Chris all ascended Sgurr na Stri (Chris ascended it twice ).
Jim ascended Bla-Bheinn prior to walking into Coruisk from Kilmarie, arriving at 23:30 having found a by-pass round the “Bad Step” .

Chris ascended Bidean Druim nan Ramh via the Druim nan Ramh ridge.
Andy, Bob, Deirdre and Cliff ascended Marsco with Andy, Bob and Deirdre opting to return via Camusunary and the “Bad Step”.
Catriona stayed low-level accompanying Andy, Bob, Deirdre and Cliff as far as the base of Marsco.
Elsie walked to the bealach with the above and then walked around Loch Coruisk.
Dave also walked to the bealach then pottered about near the hut.
Jim ascended Sgurr na Stri.

A large rockfall took place on Saturday morning below Sgurr nan Eag, caught on camera by Chris:
